About Us
Mission
Youth Theatre Company unites our community through immersive, all-ages shows. We provide hands-on, learning-by-doing opportunities for youth, teens, and adults to express their passion for performing both on and off the stage.
Vision
To deliver high-quality storytelling for Strathmore audiences, we build our casts around a balanced ecosystem: 1/3 Youth (ages 7–12), 1/3 Teens (ages 13–18), and 1/3 Adults (ages 19–70+).

Intergenerational Mentorship: On our stage, seasoned adult actors mentor teens, and teens step into major lead roles while teaching theatre etiquette to our youngest performers.

Real Family Connection: We are one of the only spaces in the area where a father, daughter, and granddaughter trio, a sibling duo, or an aunt and a niece can literally share the same script, the same rehearsals, and the same applause.
Total Stagecraft
We believe a great actor understands the whole house. Through our "learning by doing" approach, our actors work alongside our expanded Tech Crew. Performers learn to respect backstage operations, assist with prop creation, and help paint the sets. This ensures that even those who prefer the safety of the backstage crew—like youth who love the theatre community but aren't comfortable in the spotlight—are vital to the performance.
